Where and when to fish
General area. For fishing in internal public waters, the area of Friuli-Venezia Giulia is characterised in:
ZONE "A" to the South of the S.S. 14 .
ZONE "B" to the North of the S.S. 14 .
The Tarvisiano and Pontebbano belong to the fishing board number 8 ("Pontebba" ? Municipalities of Chiusaforte - Dogna - Malborghetto Valbruna - Moggio Udinese - Pontebba - Resia - Resiutta - Tarvisio) and therefore they can be found in zone "B".

Fishing periods
Fishing in the aforementioned waters is permitted:
Zone "A" ? Throughout the year.
Zone "B" - From 7.00 on the last Sunday of March to the last Sunday of September. Fishing is permitted up until 31st October in the Pramollo lake.
In both areas fishing in the following periods is prohibited for the following fish types:
Carp and tench, from 1st June to 31st July: Pike from 1st January to 30th April; Trout, Red Trout and Salmon from 1st January to 7:00 of the last Sunday of March and from 24:00 of the last Sunday of September to 31st December.
From 24:00 on 31st October in the Pramollo lake.
Fishing is permitted from 00:00 (excluding the day of general opening) to 24.00.
